Media Request - Barrett Brown, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair

This is Barrett Brown; I'm a regular contributor to Vanity Fair, The Huffington Post, and True/Slant, my work has appeared in dozens of other publications covering everything from international policy to food, style, and music, and my second book is set for release late next month. I'm getting in touch because Rolling Stone is interested in having me do a piece on Yony Lesyer's William Burroughs: A Man Within, which I just found out is to be screened at your ongoing film festival, and a few folks I'm going to be interviewing will be on hand -Patti Smith will be there to play a set, I understand, and Buscemi and Yony Leyser (with whom I'm already in contact) are supposed to be on hand (I'll be writing about Buscemi and his own Burroughs project for another article). I'd also like to do a piece on the film festival as a whole, either for Vanity Fair or another publication or both; I'll be writing up something on the SFF for True/Slant and Huffington Post in addition to whatever other publications to which I end up selling the piece.

I wanted to see if there would be any way for me to get flown up to Sarasota to catch at least a portion of the festival (I don't necessarily have to see the Burroughs film there as I've already got an advance copy). I know it's last-minute, but thought I'd check anyway. Let me know if you have any questions.
