Caleb: Let's do a thought experiment.
me: yes sir
Caleb: Let's suppose you wanted some information about the schedule of your local minor-league arena football team.
Caleb: What are the first five resources you would turn to?
me: I DON'T KNOW LOL
me: you?
Caleb: I would probably hit the old Internet first.
Caleb: I'm thinking Google, specifically.
Caleb: Maybe Yahoo.
me: yes
Caleb: Maybe Bing.
Caleb: Maybe Ask.com
Caleb: Maybe Webcrawler.
me: go on
Caleb: I might even try Wikipedia, presuming the team's entry wasn't one of the first listings on the previous Google search.
Caleb: I don't, however, think it would ever cross my mind to call the local NBC affiliate and ask them.
Caleb: And, yet.
me: wow
me: East Texas
me: hey
me: Polish prez just died in plane crash in Russia
Caleb: Thanks, dude!
Caleb: I wish you could see the raw video of the crackdown on Thai protesters.
me: why so?
Caleb: It's just goofy.
Caleb: You've got these awkward Thai riot police slowly plodding forward firing their little rubber bullets.
Caleb: And the protestors awkwardly moving forward like they're collectively thinking, "They're just rubber bullets... right?"
Caleb: And then both sides start jogging past each other.
Caleb: Occassionally stopping to throw water balloons or tear gas as the case may be.
