I understand. I'd like to be able to tell you about things I'm doing without having you react like that, though, and this has happened a lot. It doesn't make sense that you can tell me I need to see some movie or I can tell you that I hung out with some friend and everything's fine, but that when I mention that I'm going to spend some very small amount of time doing something that will help to promote me and even make me money directly (in the case of using the press release as an op-ed and posting it at True/Slant to help me get to 10,000 views and make another $250), you start to criticize me. That isn't time that I was going to spend working on something else; it's time that I would have spent not working. Doing projects like these help me to feel good and busy, which helps me to work on other stuff. They are also important to me. And you need to understand that they also do help me to make money by opening doors for me. Appearing on Fox News absolutely helped me to land other assignments and give the impression to editors that I'm an established pundit. It's simple marketing. And I've put almost zero time into Enlighten the Vote in order to get that opportunity. I've seriously done almost nothing. So, please, in the future, when I tell you about something I'm doing that's going to help promote myself, in addition to the other things I'm doing to try to make money, try to be encouraging instead of berating me about it, and try to think reasonably about what I'm telling you and what you're telling me, and what the effects are.

I'm heading over to the New York Observer now, will let you know how it goes.

I know you're working hard on all fronts and was just worried about this domain name thing. GoDaddy had initially given me some wrong information -- I'm actually the one who has to do it! So will finish it up today. Anyway, have fun at your meeting with the NY Observer this afternoon, MSTG. I love you so much.
