2:35 PM Karen: Did you call GoDaddy?
2:36 PM me: nope, finishing up a more comprehensive description of the Project PM network for the manifesto I'm going to try to sell to Wired, will call GoDaddy in a little bit
Also, meeting with the New York Observer guy at 3 tomorrow
Yes, I will dress very nicely
2:37 PM Also, talked to Caleb just now
He says if I write up a press release regarding the Texas Board of Education nonsense he can probably have me appear on his NBC affiliate
2:38 PM Karen: Fine, but let's concentrate on projects that will pay you for now.
me: I might also write an article to sell somewhere
  on the subject
  jesus, that was fast
2:39 PM I'm working on paying stuff as well, mom, and trying to monetize this one in addition to the other benefits
as in, even just writing the press release would take me about twenty minutes
2:40 PM and that would get me, at the minimum, an appearance on a substantial television station
which I could monetize further by writing about it
2:41 PM Karen: It would take 20 minutes for you to call godaddy, and not let my money go down the drain -- nor your domain name be lost.
me: so, I could dedicate half an hour to writing a press release and get a big publicity boost
2:42 PM Karen: What about the piece you did for the skeptic group -- did they accept, say when they'll pay?
me: They accepted, I sent an invoice
Karen: Twenty minutes could also be used in pitching your next piece to them -- they said one a month, right?
2:43 PM me: I really appreciate everything you've done for me
2:44 PM Do you just not want me to write a press release?
  Actually, nevermind
2:45 PM I'll call GoDaddy now
Karen: NBC Tyler is not a major media outlet, and the atheists group is not paying you --
I just want you to start thinking longterm!
 me: That's not an answer
2:46 PM Do you not want me to write the press release?
Karen: No, I don't want you wasting time on that project when you have other potential paying clients you could be pitching to/writing for.
2:47 PM me: Well, I've got to run now
Karen: I love you. Please call GoDaddy so I can stop worrying about it.
 me: I'll call them now

52 minutes
3:40 PM me: Did you send me the codes? They said they would have sent them to you
