Hi Barrett, thanks for your response and your offer.
I've been trying to figure out how to take advantage of your offer, but I'm not really clear on what skills you are offering?
Collateral means creating brochures & stickers to me, while Director-of-Communications assistance, as well as appearing on Fox News and 'emphasizing the secular intent of our Founders and early statesmen', these all seem very disparate. If you are offering to identify and promote secular angles on contemporary US issues for distillation into press releases, yes, we could probably use some help with that. But it's not part of our core mission.I have attached AAI's 2008/2009 strategic plan. (I think the first two pages are all you need to read to get the gist.) I'd appreciate it if you could give me some further ideas and examples of things you might be able to offer AAI.Thanks,Stuart

Hi, Stuart-Thanks for getting in touch. I'll give Ellen your e-mail and let her know you'd like to speak with her.Basically, Ellen has been concentrating on getting atheists elected to office in various races ranging from city council to HR elections; we don't have a large number of politicians and office seekers asking for our help, as you might imagine, but she's intent on doing what she can for those that do approach us.Meanwhile, aside from an appearance on Fox News last year and a couple of other media thingies, I'd been busy up until now and haven't yet gotten around to doing a whole lot on behalf of the PAC, as I was finishing my second book and some other projects last year. Now that I've got more time available, I'm planning a campaign to increase awareness of the Constitutional basis for secular government as well as the secular intent of our Founders and early statesmen in general; that's really the sort of thing I'd like to emphasize, as I think the secular movement benefits from associating itself with the very revolution that founded this nation.Specifically, I'm planning the campaign around a couple of articles I'll be writing for my regular outlets (Huffington Post, Vanity Fair, etc) as well as press releases and a 30-second video spot for YouTube and the like. I'm having trouble finding someone reliable to produce the script, though; do you happen to have anyone you use for such things? We've got $100 budgeted for it and the video is mostly text, not particularly time-intensive. Let me know.Aside from whatever coordination you may end up doing with Ellen, I'd be interested in working with AAI on whatever projects you have in mind, as the PAC regulations prevent me from veering too far off of our stated intent as an entity, and I've got time to assist with more than one organization. Let me know if you're in need of any collateral or other dir-o-comm sort of assistance. Thanks,Barrett BrownBrooklyn, NY512-560-2302

Hey Barrett, two questions for you:
* What's the status of ETV these days? I'm wondering if there are projects that ETV can do with Atheist Alliance International this year, specifically I'm thinking about the upcoming SCOTUS church-state cases being decided this year, but other things as well.
* I'm also trying to reach Ellen Johnson about some developments in the US freethought community, would appreciate it if you could encourage her to get in touch with me.
Thanks!
