Barrett,

you have a very interesting resume, to say the least.

Have time to talk on Monday?

Howdy-

Thought I left Austin for Brooklyn two years ago, I still fondly remember cruising the city's Craigslist for writing gigs. I'm back at it again insomuch as that I've run into some sudden expenses that weren't so much sudden as they were ignored up until recently.

I'm a regular contributor to Vanity Fair, The Huffington Post, Skeptic, True/Slant, and a couple of other outlets; back in the day, I wrote for National Lampoon, Cracked, Jest, McSweeney's, and a few other humor outlets here and there. I've got one book out and another arriving in April, and occasionally I go on Fox News to argue with weird-looking ministers.

I'm totally down for a nice, regular $10-hour gig, so get in touch if you're down with me, too. Notice how I still have my Austin-area cell phone, yo.

Thanks,
