Working on getting that background for you from our first graphic designer - just to be clear, you're looking for a high-res version of the whole logo on the top-left of the main page, right? The one that says "Scallywag and Vagabond" and then "State of Cultural Affairs" right below the pink man, right?

Also, would you be interested in doing a 30-second video spot for $75? It wouldn't have to be particularly complex at all, as the script I've written just requires text transitions, background music, and a single picture of Thomas Paine in the background at the end, although I'd want you to use your best judgement regarding the best way to execute it.

The spot is for the political action committee for which I serve as director of communications, Enlighten the Vote, which advocates for the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment and secular rights. It's run by Ellen Johnson, whom Madalyn Murray O'Hair appointed to succeed her as president of American Atheists before being murdered in 1996; Johnson left AA in 2008 after the board of directors objected to her attempt to finish a famous walk through the south that another atheist had began in the 60s before being shot and killed. She had previously started up the Godless Americans Political Action Committee, which we renamed Enlighten the Vote a year ago because we're trying to concentrate more on Constitutional issues of church/state separation as well as electing better candidates instead of advocating atheism per se (plus "Godless" sounds kind of threatening).

This spot will be a component of a campaign I'm planning by which to raise awareness about the intent of the Founding Fathers in ensuring that no religion is favored over another or over lack of religion. We don't have much funding (and none of us get paid), but I've got a plan whereby I'm going to use some of my projects, such as my upcoming second book and the accompanying publicity tour, to raise the PAC's visibility as well as to inform people about such things as the Treaty of Tripoli and the various letters the Founders wrote to each other, all of which show that the U.S. is not meant to be affiliated with a particular religion. We've had some success already in this; I appeared on Fox News last year on behalf of the organization and have just been asked to give a lecture at Rutgers on Tuesday to discuss my first book and the PAC as well.

Let me know if you'd be interested in doing the spot.
