Groovy, that Harry fellow (the animator) won't be by for another half an hour anyway and he's the one you and I would be working more closely with anyway.

This Aida woman apparently runs her own fucking magazine. It's amazing that she's over here jumping on our ship. Apparently she's a workaholic or something. She also likes our mag as it exists now, which amazes me because I don't.

I am still coming, just got held up trying to get a check from my former employer (it didn't clear, had the bank call her ECT) so I'm late. Coming there from the east village

You still coming by? I wanted you to meet Aida if possible. It's no big deal, though.

Okay, it's up on the front page, name in lights, etc. Next time it won't be so exciting; you'll have to have bigger venues, more praise and links to your piece; then you won't be happy until you've got a book deal; then that won't do it for you and you'll want another, bigger book deal; meanwhile Vanity Fair doesn't do it for you anymore, either, and you're running out of bigger magazines to conquer. Then you'll go on TV and that will satisfy you for about ten minutes. Next you'll be drinking heavily and trying to find charismatic girls to host your own television show because nothing is ever enough and not enough people know your name yet. Have fun!
