Howdy-

Thanks for taking a moment to talk to me earlier.

As I said, we're going to try to situate ourselves in such a way as that we can pay you for your time at some point in the near future; I'm putting a bunch of my own time into S&V because I think that, insomuch as that much of the hard part is already done, I'll be able to turn it into a much more viable and profitable property very soon, particularly since we've managed to recruit a number of people to help us out over the last few days. The content's going to improve dramatically as we move away from these little celebrity commentary things, for instance, and bring on more and better writers. The video content in particular should be particularly good, as I've got a couple of chicks willing to work on spec who are clever, charismatic, and funny in such a way as that they can improvise good content on the spot, and I have some experience in writing for television myself as well as background in humor as well. More to the point, we now have advertisers and sponsors lined up, such that we should be able to bring in a couple thousand dollars each month beginning next month as that all goes into place. Of course, we have almost no overhead at the moment, so we'll be able to begin paying everyone (including ourselves). We would want to have you on board on a freelance basis starting in February at a rate that would be enough to be worth it to you.

In the meantime, there's one thing that I hope you might be able to do for us in particular that would be of tremendous help, which would be to set up some sort of video widget for the main page whereby we'd be able to embed YouTube clips that we'd put up on our new YouTube channel. Basically, I just want it such that there would be a permanent video fixture at the top right of our main page. Is this something you'd be willing and able to do for us at some point soon?

That's basically all we would really ask of you in terms of technical assistance for now until such time as we're able to pay you at a rate that would work for you, as Chris tells me you've been kind enough to help him out for free thus far. We've got a couple of people who will be able to assist us with the busy work that Chris keeps asking you to do, incidentally, so hopefully he won't be bothering you with those kinds of requests from now on.

Of course, if you don't have the time to do this, I totally understand. Either way, I'll get back to you again later on when I know a little bit more about what sort of money we'll have coming in soon and what we'd be in a position to pay you for occasional assistance in the near future.

Thanks,
