Thanks Peter. What I would like to see us focus on is our main goal - electing non-religious people to office at all levels of government and also people who may be religious but who support us on our issues. So we need to find these people and contact them and tout them to our supporters. We need to help get them elected. That is what EV is supposed to do. I recently contacted two such persons and did not hear back from them. I will follow up on them until I get in touch with them.
I would like us to find these people and spread the word about them and get them elected! That will make the work of the Secular Coalition that much better. Unless we get supporters into office our lobbying will be nothing more than trying to get a square peg into a round hole.
What can we all do to make this happen?
