I want to have a quick conversation with you regarding the conservative blogosphere and its future and all that and then include it in the epilogue, which will deal with how those of us who fit certain criteria could perhaps develop a system that would combat disinformation in general. As we see from this McCain thing, there are certain pieces of information that simply don't rise to the top due to a variety of factors; it's a problem of organization, for one thing. Of course, the blogosphere is already relatively proficient at getting some of these things in the public eye by way of the manner in which one obscure fellow can figure something out and have it spread quickly among more prominent bloggers until such time as the brick-and-mortar media begins to pick up on it, but this dynamic could use some reinforcement. What's needed is an association that would (1) point to the failures of our prominent pundits and make sure that more people are aware that these pundits are worthless and ought not to be read and (2) counter whatever disinformation they've put forward with accurate information and (3) promote those stories and issues which most anyone, no matter their political persuasion, recognize as extraordinarily important yet which are not adequately covered. This is just the basic skeleton of such a project, and obviously more thinking needs to be done regarding the form such a thing would take; at any rate, I'll be proposing it in theory in my epilogue, which I'll be writing tonight. If this interests you, we should discuss it further at a later time after I've gotten a few other prominent folks interested. At any rate, give me a call if you could so I can get some quotes from you for the epilogue.

I read through it and it all looks accurate to me. One suggestion -- you might want to work in a mention that Bill White was convicted of making online threats recently -- and that at one point he also threatened me at Overthrow.com, long before I'd even heard of Robert Stacy McCain. I think that falls under the heading of "painful irony," or maybe "creepy presentiment."
