Amanda-

Understood; actually just had an old editor/publisher of mine move in anyway. We're turning this place into a sort of mystery school/media bureau. You're actually lucky that you're not moving in here because the apartment really defies summarization. It is now the de facto HQ of five fucking things, for instance.

You're clearly worth knowing, so let's talk.

Hey there,

I saw your ad on Craigslist. Unfortunately, I am not looking for an apartment, just lurking Brooklyn because I'm interested in potentially moving there in the future. I don't want to waste your time, but felt I should email you for some bizarre reason. I don't know. I find you and your life interesting. I'm currently living in Pittsburgh attending Pitt trying to become a poet. If you're not overly busy, or have any interest in Pittsburgh, poetry, other-- please email back. I'm always up for internet randomness, though I don't normally email strangers. Anyway, if moving to Brooklyn was a present goal, I'd be interested in the room and I do have a dog who loves to walk and I'm sure you make a great breakfast. Good luck in the roommate search.
