I know you're looking for fellow Bushwickians to highlight on the site, so I thought that I'd offer up a few people I know.  I do some volunteer work with Bushwick IMPACT, which is a community resource center over on Central Ave. that really emphasizes the importance of early learning and parent advocacy to the neighborhood locals.  IMPACT has actually been mentioned on the site a few times in the past.  They have some really great programs going on and the parents and kids that attend the center are REALLY into it.  Long story short, they just do a kick ass job over there and are some of the nicest people that you'd ever meet.

If possible, I'd love to get Loren (the Director) or Frank (Associate Director) featured on the site.  Let me know if I should just send you a blurb on them or how I need to go about this.  And, of course, if you'd like to come check out the center yourself, we'd love to have you!
