We are a start up with daily readership of 200 visitors
only. We want to get this to 2000 visitors per day. What we want is somebody
who could gather news from the global press on a daily basis and we will post
this with an acknowledgement. Later we will rewrite these stories so
that we don’t have to acknowledge them. We also need some original
content articles and reports may be 200-400 words which can be posted. As far
as compensation is concerned ... we have zero income at present and it is
likely to stay this way for about 8-12 weeks . however for your
efforts we could do monthly fee of between $250-500 for your
services. If we feel that this is increasing our traffic we could increase this
amount so that after 4 weeks it doubles and even triples after 3 months.
I appreciate you are very qualified and could make an excellent
contribution but our start up budget for this is low. If our partnership
develops than certainly we will consider giving you higher compensation for
your efforts and our incremental income.

What sort of compensation are you offering? I have some
background in writing on issues relating to genetics and science in general
because of my first book and related projects, and could easily bring some
additional traffic as I'm now writing regularly for The Huffington Post, among
other things.
