Yeah, I saw that this morning. The funny thing is that these people are actually better writers and more rational than a lot of the more "respectable" people we've been dealing with of late. I'm about to write another post addressing the various "points" they've made. At least they're not as stupid as the cartoon people; Christmas Ghost in particular is still #2 craziest and most hilariously irrational person I've ever dealt with (on the internet, anyway).
Also, if you've never tried crack before and would like to know what it feels like, the experience may be approximated by reading this article:
Some good news, but keep this between us - Dan Collins, who wrote at Protein Wisdom for a while and who attacked us both a couple of weeks back in the course of defending McCain, is now extraordinarily troubled by the evidence. He tells me he's going to give the fellow a chance to explain himself to him as soon as he gets back from upstate NY, although I can't imagine McCain coming up with anything viable. Collins is somewhat akin to A.J. Strata in terms of honesty, and he respects me even though we've gone after each other on a number of occasions. I think he's also grateful that I didn't attack him when I did the Protein Wisdom piece earlier this month for T/S and HuffPo; he knows full well that I could have made him look pretty terrible, partly because of this:
The sad thing is that he's the best blogger that Protein Wisdom ever had, and among the most honest of McCain's defenders.
To his credit, before I'd met you or was even aware of the evidence that you and others had dug up on McCain, back when I did my first attack on McCain based on the teen pregnancy posts he'd done in his own name, Collins was the one who alerted me to the American Renaissance article and noted that he'd found it troubling. Before that, I pretty much had my hand on an elephant's foot in a dark room. Or another metaphor.
Anyway, we'll see what happens; I'm trying to keep a line of communication going with those among our enemies who could potentially be convinced of the truth and who'd be willing to even go so far as to tell the truth.
