Well, now I'm going to get an extra $250 from True Slant for getting over 15,000 hits this months - something that I'm going to be able to do every month now that I've got Charles Johnson and Instaputz and Allison Kilkenny linking to me. There are also always fringe benefits and potential new gigs that come from developing a following. This is how I get noticed by people and offered gigs, like with the Onion. They just got back to me on my queries and approved a couple of them, incidentally, so that's nice.
