Except that one of the most respected bloggers - the guy who won awards for his investigative work on several subjects and who basically took down Dan Rather - linked approvingly to the article last night, and this was followed up by such comments as "Got to add Barrett Brown to my daily reading." The half-dozen investigative reporters I've talked to know it's an important story and have thanked me for working on it - several are now preparing to write their own pieces on the subject. The Huffington Post has featured every single piece I've written on the subject. Yes, bloggers often dwell on one issue for a while, and this is an extraordinary case. You are misreading this situation because you are not familiar with blogs and because you don't listen to me.

And JEsus Christ, I just now received a message from someone else:

that email exchange over your editing that cartoon is hilarious
that guy has an amazingly overdeveloped persecution complex

Everyone likes my work except for you. You've become my biggest detractor. And I can't imagine that anyone out there could come anywhere as close to hurting me as you've hurt me today. I can't even talk to you because I'm crying. I can't believe that you would write that you're going to have me committed and close my bank account because of this.

You are nuts if you think you are successful enough to be publicizing that. VFand HuffPo and the like do not want a budding "expert" who is immature and brags about that kind of stuff. You are being seriously delusional about your self-importance, and your obsession with these people/ topics makes you sound like a 16-year-old with a vendetta. You are going to self-implode your career with your grandiosity. Time to change the subject and also time to grow up. You are starting to sound like that crazy guy from Protein Wisdom -- really.
