Hi, Jag-
Thanks for getting in touch.
I'd love to have you on board; you clearly have tons of pertinent experience. So far we've also got a lawyer helping us out, and I should be able to recruit a few more people as necessary over the coming weeks. I think we've got everything figured out with regards to how we'll be operating and all that, but I'd also like to have your input. I serve as director of communications for a PAC so have some knowledge of this sort of thing, but you obviously have more specific experience in matters relating to drug policy, for instance, so I'd want to defer to your opinion on a lot of this.
Give me a call or come by my place at 37 Park Street #2 (between Broadway and Beaver) at your convenience and we'll talk about how to proceed.
Thanks again,
Barrett Brown

Hey there. I was really excited to see your post on BushwickBK about a neighborhood response to illegal police practices in Bushwick. I am not a lawyer, but I worked for several years for the ACLU Drug Law Reform Project and just moved to Bushwick a couple months ago from California to work at the Drug Policy Alliance. DPA is planning a major campaign in NYC over the next year about marijuana arrests: see http://www.nydailynews.com/opinions/2009/08/25/2009-08-25_stop_the_war_on_pot_smokers.html for background.
Lets talk sometime!!
