Incidentally, McCain is himself a member of the neo-secessionist group League of the South and has ties to a number of self-proclaimed neo-Nazi organizations and individuals; nonetheless, he has managed to remain a mainstream figure, having co-authored a book two years back with Lynn Vincent, who herself ghosted Palin's Going Rogue and who also has questionable ties.
