As for the projects I mentioned, I've just formed an organization here in Bushwick that's intended to reduce the number of illegal police searches by providing legal assistance to victims of such things as well as publicizing such incidents. We've already got a couple of lawyers on board as well as a fellow who spent several years working on the ACLU's Drug Law Reform Project and who just moved to New York to serve with the Drug Policy Alliance. I've also recruited a number of people with influence in the community to spread the word about what we're doing and to assist with an upcoming information campaign, among other things. So we're off to a pretty good start. I was hoping you might be willing to give it a mention on Citizen Radio in a couple of weeks when we're closer to launching (we don't even have a name yet).

I've got a couple more things I'm working on that might interest you as well; about to start doing a weekly web telecast to be aired on BushwickBk.com, True/Slant, and a couple of other outlets, and would love to have you and/or Allison come on as guests. It's going to be a sort of casual thing, filmed from my living room, and you guys can promote your various projects. BushwickBk has a pretty damned good audience and seems to be read by a lot of editors and producers and whatnot - I got my Onion gig because an editor saw a piece I did for them - so it's a good place to plug projects.
