It's Barrett Brown, your predecessor at Political Base. I see that you're in the midst of making a decision about what to do regarding PB, so wanted to check in with you to see if you might have some use for me in the near future. I'm now a regular contributor at Vanity Fair, Huffington Post, True/Slant, The Onion (NYC print version) and Skeptic, and I've also been appointed director of communications of Enlighten the Vote (formerly GAMPAC), a PAC dedicated to preserving the civil rights of secular Americans. I've since appeared on Fox News and a few other, less crazy outlets, and my second book, Hot, Fat and Clouded: The Amazing and Amusing Failures of America's Chattering Class (Being a Moderately Complete Record of the Incompetence of our Republic's Mainstream Pundits, Many of Whom Deserve to be Exiled or at Least Have Their Cars Vandalized), will be released early next year in conjunction with a promotional campaign and all that good stuff.
As such, I'd be able to bring more to the table than I previously could in terms of attracting new readers via links from my other work as well as my media appearances. Drop me a line if you think you might have a role for me to play at PB in the near future.
