Barrett Brown is the author of Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny; his second book, Caught, Fat, and Clouded, will be released in 2010. He's a regular contributor to Vanity Fair,The Onion, and Skeptic, and his other work has appeared in dozens of publications including National Lampoon, McSweeney's, and American Atheist. He also serves as director of communications for Enlighten the Vote (formerly the Godless Americans Political Action Committee), a PAC dedicated to promoting the Establishment Clause as well as providing assistance to secularist candidates for office. He's appeared on Fox News and other, less ridiculous outlets.

Brown hails from Texas but currently lives in Brooklyn.
