Karen: Beautiful. Cold and rainy. Yesterday was sunny and we took a tour up to a famous icefield that feeds 30 glaciers. Very interesting.
me: still in Canada?
Karen: Yup, through Saturday.
11:39 AM Very laid back. Light hiking in the mountains, place we're staying is a 150-year-old ski resort, very chi - chi.
me: I'll bet
Karen: Are any of your pieces up yet?
me: got a whole chapter of my book outlined this weekend

11:40 AM Karen: That's good progress! I guess you need whole days of nothing just to concentrate on that, huh?
me: nah, I'm getting into the groove now, was sort of blocked on that for a while too

me: yep
Karen: Good! Just send me an email when they're up. I can come down to this business center and use their computers. Haven't yet figured out how to troll the internets on my Blackberry, plus it's quite expensive to rack up international roaming charges.
