I'm writing because I'm trying to expand my editing business and have to do all that networking stuff essential to a successful freelance business. I know you've had a lot of success as a freelance writer. Could you recommend any good websites or businesses or any place else I might look for editing work? I'd really appreciate it if you'd pass my name along to anyone you know looking for an editor.
I'm good. Plus, I have a fair amount of experience. I've been freelancing part-time for almost two years now, but now that I'm not teaching anymore (because I graduated), I need to earn some money. I have many samples of my work available.
How are you? Do you like your job? Do you like New York? Have you ever been punched in the face while strolling through your neighborhood?
I just finished my MA in anthropology and am starting a PhD program this fall at Southern Illinois University. Nathan's about to finish two AAs, one in renewable energy and the other in power technology. He recently got a job as a tutor at ACC in the electronics department and really loves it. Unfortunately, he only gets to keep it another two months, since we're moving to Illinois. Anyway, hope your jacket collar is still turned up.
