I understand that you represent several folks at The Daily Show and The Colbert Report and wanted to check in to see if you're
taking on additional writers at the moment. I'm a Brooklyn-based
freelancer and author specializing in political humor, and my work has
appeared in Vanity Fair, Skeptic, The Huffington Post, The Onion A.V. Club, National Lampoon, McSweeney's, and dozens of other publications, and my first book, Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny, was released in 2007; my second book, Caught, Fat, and Clouded: The Manifold Failures of the American Punditry,
is set for release next year. I've also served as a contract writer for
Fox Business Channel's Emmy-award winning animated financial humor
program Hoofy and Boo.
I'm looking for an agent
specifically in hopes of doing more television writing, preferably with
any of the late night topical-monologue comedians and/or news satire
programs.
I've pasted a couple of links to some recent work
below; please take a look and let me know if you might be interested in
taking me on as a client.
