they said we're in
10:53 AM but that they needed a 'critical mass' of at least 8 companies to run their summer program
so, they need to accept 7 other candidates
they'll let me know this week
but
they told me that if they dont run the program, that we are candidates for A round funding
10:54 AM and they also gave me the name of another investor who does primarily media companies
11:20 AM me: so, not enough people are applying for the funds?
11:21 AM Andrew: well, if enough people hadnt applied I think they wouldn't have called me in
but its still their decision which ones merit funding
if they choose to fund 8 of them, we get funding
