I understand that PC World is looking for bloggers, and I'd like to be considered. I currently blog for Vanity Fair and The Lazy Environmentalist (for which I write mainly about new gadgets and technologies), and my other work has appeared in dozens of publications including National Lampoon, Skeptic, Politicalbase.com (a CNET-associated startup for which I served as the chief blogger from 2007 to 2008), McSweeney's, Fortean Times, nerve.com, and The Onion A.V. Club. My first book, Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny, was released in 2007 to praise from Rolling Stone, The Huffington Post, and Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School. I'm also a big PC gamer, although I also have a couple of old consoles, and have a number of contacts at tech firms here in New York and elsewhere.
Let me know if you'd like to discuss this further.
