You are over-qualified for this position, but I think you could make a
brilliant contribution to the project.
What's a good time to reach you? I'd like to fill you in more. How late can
I call in the evening and how early in the morning?

Subject: Looking for a Slightly Lucrative
Relationship
Hi-
I'd like to assist you with your relationship book
project. My work has appeared in Vanity Fair, Skeptic, The
Huffington Post, National Lampoon, and dozens of other
publications, and I've also served as a marketing copywriter for several small
businesses. My first book, Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism,
Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny, was released in 2007 to praise
from Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School, Matt Taibbi of Rolling
Stone, and other sources.
I'm looking for a steady project to work
on for a few months while I do research for my second book, so I'd very
interested in learning a bit more about the gig. I'm fine with $10 an hour to
start.
I've attached my resume; please let me know if you'd like to
discuss this further.
Thanks,
Barrett Brown
