Howdy, Michael-

I'm a political humorist and author who's seeking representation, and I understand that you represent some writers for Comedy Central, so I thought I'd get in touch to see if you might be interested in taking me on.

My work has appeared in Vanity Fair, The Huffington Post, Skeptic, National Lampoon, The Onion A.V. Club, McSweeney's, and dozens of other publications, and my first book, Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny, was released in 2007 to praise from Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School, Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone, Cenk Uygur of Air America Radio, and other sources. I also serve as director of communications for Enlighten the Vote, a PAC dedicated to promoting the Establishment Clause of the Constitution and for which I've done some media appearances, most recently on Fox News last January. I've done a bit of television writing as well, having served as a contributing writer to the Emmy-award winning Hoofy and Boo's News and Views on Fox Business Channel and having also done a bit of writing for television performer Sati Achath. I'm 27 and live in Bushwick/Williamsburg with all the other 27-year-olds.

I'd like to get some additional comedy writing work but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it, so I figured I could use an agent. Let me know if you'd like to see some samples.

Thanks,
