I'd like to be considered for the available position of freelance analyst. I'm a full-time freelance writer and author, and my work has appeared in dozens of publications including Skeptic, National Lampoon, McSweeney's, The Fortean Times, American Atheist, and The Onion A.V. Club, as well as several lesser-known public policy journals in the U.S. and U.K. My first book, Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny was released in 2007 to praise from Alan Dershowitz of Harvard Law School, Cenk Uyger of the Federalist Society and Air America Radio, and Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone, among other sources, and has also since been cited in several scholarly books and other publications dealing with the philosophy of science. I've also worked as a copywriter for a number of outlets ranging from media giant America Online to reference publisher Thomas Riggs, and am comfortable handling work-intensive assignments with short deadlines.
