Thanks for responding to my post. I am editing city-guide content and I am looking for writers who can work well and fast over the next two weeks.
Attached are two sample essays. As you will see, the essay itself is modest in its goals. It gives basic information about the city. A writer is expected to spend about a half hour researching the topic on the Internet and another hour and a half writing the essay. I am looking for people who can produce 4-5 essays per day.
The plan is to assign 32 cites to each writer with staggered milestone due-dates sprinkled throughout the next two weeks.
The pay is $42. each. The total is $1,512.
You'd be paid by direct-deposit, or if you prefer, by check, every two weeks, which in this case would be two weeks from your start date.
Our business, Thomas Riggs & Company, has been around since 1995. We focus on academic and reference books and more recently on electronic publishing products. We currently have long-term contracts with two publishers, Gale (Cengage) of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Chadwyck-Healey (Proquest) of Cambridge, England. Among our ongoing products are biographies on writers, study guides of literary works, an anthology of nineteenth-century literary criticism, and a directory of information on actors. The web essays are for Gale.
If this is of interest to you, I can send you a contract, a sample formula for the essays, and then assign you your first group of US cities.
Best regards,
Jonathan Levine
