Yeah, I'm using guru.com to pick up gigs, and I agreed to edit this guy's book manuscript, but then he suddenly decided that I was an imposter, as he seems to be convinced that the real Barrett Brown is too rich and famous to be doing, like, work. So, if you would, e-mail him back real quick and let him know that we spoke and that, yes, he's been in communication with the real Barrett Brown and not some guy who's pretending to be Barrett Brown. I don't know if he's nuts or what but I need the work nonetheless.

Also, did you get the e-mail about finalizing the book title? I was thinking we might replace "Crowded" with "Clouded." Let me know what you decide as I'd like to have the title mentioned in my footer bio for an upcoming article I've got in Skeptic.

Editor,

My name is Doyle Duke. I was soliciting for an editor for a book I've written and "a" Barrett Brown claiming to be the author of Flock of Dodos submitted a bid. When I questioned his identity he gave me this phone #, 512-560-2302, and suggested I check its authenticity with you. Can you verify the number?

Thanks.
