When our founding fathers first decided to
release ourselves from the bonds of English
supremacy they looked at the way England was
ran. It was run by the Church of England. This
is why they decided to put the Separation of
Church and State in the Bill of Rights. This was
meant that the government shall not be
influenced by any church. That does not mean
that we should take GOD out of the picture
totally. Tell me something, what is so wrong
about Christianity? What is so wrong about
believing in something? Why take our pledge of
allegiance out of the classroom, why take GOD
off our currency what harm could it do? I will
tell you what it could do, you start taking more
and more things away you start having a totally
numb and a not caring society. This could not be
a good thing. If there is a person out there
that truly believes that the having a GOD or
rather a higher power to rely on and to believe
in is a bad thing then they must look at
themselves as a selfish person and they really
need to look at themselves really hard. This
country used to believe in itself and without
the pride and honor you have nothing. This
country will not be able sustain its power and
influence over the evils of this world. Help
this country by helping the population believe
in itself. Thanks for listening and your
response.
