Sry… forgot.  I got a couple more ideas too!

You might be interested in this one for your own stuff:

www.winwithoutpitching.com

“Even when you Pitch and win, you lose.”

This is a philosophy we subscribe too – but have never been clear about it.  And it looks better in writing.  Also answers the question for us – “what is your pricing structure” or “where is your price list”.  Anyway, dude wrote a 1 page in a newsletter, and ends with: “With no ability to affect the buy-sell process, all that’s left is to get out the dogs and ponies, the Powerpoint, and dancing girls, because it’s pitch time.” – I thought that was good.

And then the attached image is off one of our client’s websites.  I thought something like that would make a good postcard / email.

I could go ahead and do an election sales letter if you think you could get it out in time for it to be relevant. Otherwise, we can go ahead and do Thanksgiving, I suppose.

Africa was nifty. Went hunting, killed everything. Sorry, there's nothing left.

No prob.  How was Africa?

Next holiday?  Thanksgiving?  New Years?  Election 08?... scary times – and not just cause Halloween.

Adam-

Apologies for not getting back to you; I ended up not having e-mail access while in Africa and have had a lot to attend to since returning. I'm assuming its too late for a Halloween-themed sales letter, but let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks,

Barrett

Hi, Adam-

Sorry for the delay; been swamped with this new PAC thing. I'll try to get a draft to you this weekend. Will be in Africa from the 7th to the 17th, but should have sporadic e-mail access in case we need to hammer out some changes to that.

Thanks,

Barrett

I'm just going to stop paying taxes. To hell with Lehman and all this
crap. If they're upset, let 'em jump out of windows like honorable men
used to do in '29.

I'll get back to you with this tomorrow, most likely.
