Thanks for the memo and thanks for including me in this important project.  I have several comments on the memo (which I will forward as soon as they are complete) but I could use some guidance in terms of our political objectives.   Is our goal to get our message out via the electoral process or is it to elect candidates that support our issues?  The answer to that question will determine how we craft our message and what we require of our endorsed candidates.  Both are valid, the question is which one best advances our overall objectives.
