My client contacted you in 2006 by way of a writer's protection organization known as WritersWeekly.  Angela Hoy of WritersWeekly e-mailed you and your former editor on my client's behalf on August 3, 2006.  The information which was forwarded to you contained a full account of my client's claim for $5,152 for services rendered.  You responded to Ms. Hoy's e-mail without disputing any of the facts in question, alleging that one of the four writers had a bad reputation at IDC.  Please let me know if you would like us to direct you to a full account of this incident, as it is readily available.

Your involvement in evote.com is easily verifiable and I assure you my staff has done the appropriate research.  Regardless of what position you assert you occupied in the organization, the articles in question were commissioned both by you as well as under your direction by Laura Painter.  My client's claim concerns payment for services you ordered and accepted, and for which he is still awaiting payment.

My client is open to a settlement and would like to take care of this as soon as possible.  He would also be willing to agree in writing to a final settlement of any and all claims.
