I see what you're saying but pitching ludicrous movie versions of something a movie star might have done on a certain day isn't necessarily my thing. I'm not that meta.

I do not feel that Thiz Day... has failed. Can't say I've seen anything that indicates to the contrary. IMHO I think it works just fine as long as the person writing writes. I do my best to post Thiz Day... on Tues and Thurs and have worked my schedule to that end. Also,  Barrett is out of the country til mid-month and reworking the day assignments at this point might end up wasting us more time when we could be in fact writing.

I'm about to begin working on my post for tomorrow but if you want me to hold-off until you work something out, let me know.

Hey, guys,
alright, so, I'm thinking that the "This Day in History" thing has
sort of failed on it's first go (my scheduled has been hectic and I
haven't managed to do one yet, so I apologize; but it seems like
there's not much longevity to the current concept.

I was thinking we need to really nail down a schedule and an idea for the piece.
I prepose that we each write one "Day in History" article a week, with
the premise of pitching your movie adaptation of it.

For example: If Barbra Streisand did something in 1985, you'd describe
it, then pitch a ludicrous movie version of it. "A Giant Gila Monster
(Star of "Attack of the Giant Gila Monster") plays Barbra Streisand.
Or, you can write adaptation of actual historical events starring
celebrities (like "Waco Massacre" starring Andy Dick). Whatever you
want... you can play around with the idea.
It's pretty easy to write fake movie version of silly news over and
over, plus then there will be a recurring feature on the site, which I
know they're looking for.

Let me know if you guys are down and then we'll divide up days again
(I can't speak for you guys, but I know my schedule has changed)
Let me know what you think,
