Vincent Garofalo has responded to the letter I sent on Barrett's behalf and while he seems open to the idea of a settlement, he denies any real association with Ideacast and Evote and instead maintains that one of his companies was merely an investor in Ideacast. Please let me know of any evidence you may be aware of that would contradict his claim as it would definitely result in a higher settlement for all parties involved.
I will keep you updated on any new developments. Feel free to let me know of any questions or concerns you may have.
Thanks,
Mirna Hariz

Barrett, Mirna,
Great news! I would certainly be willing to discuss a settlement. Let's see what the offer will be - of course, for leverage in a case like this, we can always start with salary due plus interest, and negotiate down from that higher number.
Barrett, enjoy Africa man, everyone I know who's gone has loved it.

Gentlemen-
Mirna received an e-mail from Garofalo the other day; he still denies ownership of Ideacast or Evote, but wants to settle on the grounds that it would be expensive for him to defend himself (although the real reason he wants to settle obviously has to do with the fact that he would get his happy ass handed to him in any courtroom setting, seeing as how he is obviously lying). I'm going to go ahead and have him make me an offer, as I need some quick cash to further my wacky political objectives. You guys might consider doing the same, but if you'd prefer to pursue this legally, I'll provide you both with some nifty little details that will come in handy should you choose to do so. If you'd like, you can have Mirna handle it for you, or you can pick your own lawyers or whatever. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Happy hunting!
Speaking of hunting, I'll be in Africa from the 7th to the 20th, as it is my understanding that there are a bunch of animals running around over there that need to be shot, but should still be reachable by e-mail to some extent for the duration.
