I received the following e-mail forward earlier this month and have since decided that, in light of the sender's status as a prominent Texas attorney who is admitted to practice law in several U.S. district courts and who otherwise holds several positions within the Texas State Bar and Dallas Bar Association, that this warrants some degree of attention. Below, you will find an unambiguously racist e-mail which was forwarded to a dozen or so recipients by Troy Murrell of Barnes & Harrington, a Dallas firm which represents employers in labor disputes. It was forwarded to me by a family acquaintance in Dallas, where I grew up. I believe it speaks for itself.
