Zaz Fusion,
As you recover from your post-Olympic hangover, a few thoughts for this week (in bullet point form):
- Love the participation so far guys, partcularly the new writers. We're posting more frequently and more content is always a good thing. I had a conference call with some of the higher-ups for the Zaz and National Lampoon and they echoed that same sentiment.
- Please let us know if you're not planning on contributing to the Zaz any longer. I promise we won't look down on you. No need to reply all, just reply to me directly. And if you want to keep writing, write!
- In terms of content on the site, they had some feedback and mentioned we've slid a little off target. Recently our posts have gotten more ranty and personal. Let's refocus back on the entertainment/pop culture tip. I think the big thing is ensuring every post is based in some sort of reality or news, even if its crazy it should have a real foundation. I'm not asking you to do straight gossip or anything, but what you post about should be relevant. We're a comedy blog for entertainment/pop culture and we should stay on the track. Does that make sense?
- Post, post, post! A lot of ideas on email and not as many posts. Let's keep up the Spaghetti Phase, stay relevant and see what sticks.
What ideas do you have for this week?
