Mr. Brown,

 

Our firm only came into being in the last several years.  We did not exist in 1998. As our reputation has grown rapidly, there have been several people who have tried to associate themselves with us without our consent, or who have flatly stated they are part of The Negotiators in an attempt to draw business for themselves. That is why we have a warning on our web site and, in fact, bring charges against individuals we catch doing so. 

 

I do not know Mr. Anglesey. He has certainly not worked with us or for us under that name or any other name. We have thus far confined our mediation activities to the south and southeast states. All marketing and public education initiatives go through me. We have engaged no one outside of our firm and do not currently have any intetrest in New York. Nobody other than those individuals listed on our website has any sort of association or affiliation with us. I would appreciate knowing a little more about who you are, what your interest in this, Mr. Anglesey, and how we might get a hold of him.

Although you may not recognize his name, he seems to know a thing or two about your firm, and was in fact posting brief ads for your firm on internet message boards in 1998, as may be seen by going to the following link and scrolling down a bit more than halfway through the page:

I understand that this occurred a decade ago and you might not be able to answer offhand, but would it be possible to check your records and find out why it is that Mr. Anglesey would have been trying to drum up business for your mediation firm? If not, I can try to find out myself and will let you know what I discover.
