Yeah, we won't be releasing any of this until the site is ready to handle donations and all of that. But as soon as the site is ready, we'll also be ready with all sorts of things that have been prepared in advance, so it should be a good launch.

Regarding the server, I'm starting to think it might be best if you simply pay for a server firm to host it, because we're getting involved in more things and can't guarantee that our bandwidth will be up to snuff for it. It shouldn't cost more than $50 a month or so to have a professional host handle this, and they can add or subtract bandwidth based on the needs of GAMPAC over time. Part of the problem is that Stein is getting really busy and wouldn't be able to address any problems in a timely fashion, and we can't have this site going down at all once it's up. You might talk to Stephen about this; let me know what he says. Sorry about that; I should have looked into the technical aspects a bit further before mentioning it.

See, all it takes is one good viral video to blow up our fundraising. You'll see. I'm going to try to make it myself with little Windows Movie Player, but I might wait and get one of my video production friends to help next week if I can't figure out how to make it suitably awesome. Also, I e-mailed our friend in the OC this morning; I expect to hear back from him soon.

Thanks,

Barrett

Wonderful.  I wish I had the skills to help you with the videos.
In any case, we still have to wait until the website is finished before we start all our publicity.  Right now I am working on the donations page.  I have to get it set up with a credit card service company, probably CardService International.
We have to get it on your server, set up the Blog, get some merchandise ready on CafePress and put some links to related articles.
Should I ask Stephen to put links that say DIGG and Reddit on the home page?
