There is absolutely nothing Goldstein could do that would make them stop reading his blog or stop respecting him. Same with his buddy Michelle Malkin, who has been discredited so many times that I can't even think of the best example to give you.

Now, with regards to the National Lampoon thing and me, Goldstein will drive up traffic with his loyal readership and general internet noteriety, and I will drive up traffic by being funny. Now, some of the stuff he'll do for NL might be pretty damned good. At the very least, it will be ten times better than the unbelievably terrible crap that they have going on now. Anyway, at this point, I no longer have any ill will towards Goldstein; I just feel sorry for him.
