Can I be honest with you about something? I am very concerned about this item you wrote last week.

a. I doubt that Dembski will be there. It's going to be a small wedding and Caroline said the groom's family's guest list was very short.

b.The Casteels invited you as their guest, not as an investigative documentary journalist. 

c. Introducing yourself and asking someone a question is one thing, but challenging them to a drunken debate and filming it at a social function we've been invited to is another.

d. Hopefully you haven't put this in print anywhere else that the Casteels would ever be able to see.

I raised you to be a mature, classy guy and this would not be a mature, classy thing to do.

On a somewhat related note, I will probably meet him soon, as I'm attending the wedding of Marvin Olasky's son in November. You may assume from this strange fact that I lead a bizarre life, and also that I plan on asking Dembski a very amusing question about why it is that his little intelligent design journal has not released any new articles since 2005, and that I plan to videotape this and also to drink a lot of free liquor and bask in irony.
