Hello, my name is Nick Brewer, I am interested in setting up a time that I could view this apartment. Myself and two roommates are looking to move to a nice area of Brooklyn. Please feel free to contact me at nick.r.brewer@gmail.com or on my cell phone at (646) 420-0932. I work until 8:30 today and tomorrow, and am wide open all weekend to view.

We're switching over to a new apartment owned by our landlord and are posting this on his behalf since we'll be handling the tours and whatnot. This is a three-bedroom apartment that was renovated last year - hardwood floors, two non-working but nonetheless adorable brick fireplaces, big kitchen, moderately-sized living room, etc. Gas is included. The landlord is an extraordinarily easy-going guy who will only run a basic credit check, hand you the keys, and leave you alone. There's a laundromat around the corner plus something like 30 little eateries, a grocery store, and a park (with b-ball court, natch) all within a minute's walk. The Flushing stop on the JMZ is about two minutes away; the Morgan stop on the L is about six minutes away. Lots of artists moving into the area, though much of the block is made up of families with little kids who will ask you dozens of questions about your dog if you own one (dogs are allowed, by the way; this guy wouldn't care if you're raising live alligators in the bathroom as long as the rent comes in), including what the dog eats, if the dog has eaten recently, if it drinks water, and if it bites (these kids must get bitten by lots of dogs because this is always the first question). Very charming and amusing neighborhood, overall. The landlord will want first month, last month, and deposit. E-mail me if you want to take a look; we all work at home and stay up late so any time is good.
