Political blog writer / editor needed for high profile political web site. This is a modestly paid position for a blogger in support of Barack Obama for President. This person must be a true believer and be willing to do posts most days between now and the election. Blogger must be able to deal with hostile replies and posts while keeping the blog professional and well reasoned.

We are using a committee selection process, as we have about 300 members on the site presently. They all will be allowed to help choose a candidate. Since this is a writing job, we are asking for all candidates to submit a short answer to this question:

Why do you support Senator Barack Obama in his run for President?


Membership will only see the answer to that question, and nothing more. 200 words or less. You will not be judged based on any other factors other than the content of that answer.

Salary: $500 per month. This is more of a stipend and less of a salary. We ask for daily blog posts, although not all have to be length. You must be able to respond professionally to those that disagree with you.
