Remember Omran? He and many other Muslims are convinced that a building in Muscat was moved to another location overnight by djinn.

Did you see the Larry King program last week -- an update on the UFO sightings early this year in Stephenville, TX? Seems they've analyzed radar data and there WAS something there that wasn't aircraft as we know it. One of the witnesses who saw the craft most closely over his land was threated by an Air Force colonel to be quiet. Now, it still could be new inventions the US gov. is testing, which could explain why they keep changing their stories about their own activity over the area. Who knows, but fun to speculate.

From a wikipedia article I'm reading:
Meanwhile, other astronomers were looking for signs of life on other planets. In 1822, Franz von Gruithuisen thought he saw a giant city and evidence of agriculture on the moon, but astronomers using more powerful instruments refuted his claims. Gruithuisen also believed he saw evidence of life on Venus. "Ashen light" had been observed on Venus, and he postulated that it was caused by a great fire festival put on by the inhabitants to celebrate their new emperor. Later he revised his position, stating that the Venusians could be burning their rainforest to make more farmland.[citation needed]

Wow, I watched both of those. First one seems to imply it's manmade and second explains that it's not, but still very interesting. And the second interview was with your pals at After Dark magazine which you still get here. (I love to read it.)

No, NY. And you do need to ask Dad to buy you a dark suit. I imagine he'll be thrilled to do something like that.

It's not in Dallas, it's in NY. Didn't you read my email? And I never dreamed that you would not behave yourself, MSTG. You're 26, for God's sake.On Mon, Jul 14, 2008 at 9:38 AM, Barrett Brown <barriticus@gmail.com> wrote:
1. I don't know any girls in Dallas.
2. If I meet one, I'm not going to be taking her to a wedding for a date during the brief time that I'm in Dallas.
3. William Dembski could very well be there, as he's friends with Olasky. A few other people I made fun of briefly in my book will almost certainly be there as well, including a couple of misguided UT professors.
4. In fact, this wedding is going to be attended by a lot of prominent Christians and conservatives who would be interesting to talk to.
5. Yes, I'll behave myself.

Saturday, November 15. 6:00 p.m. at a Methodist church on Park Avenue, reception afterwards at the Colony Club nearby. You'll get to meet that famous father of the groom. Don't know yet if they're letting you bring a date? We'll see if the invitation says "Barrett Brown and guest." See if your dad will buy you a new dark suit. He would probably love to do that, so you might start asking him now. Maybe you all could shop for it next time he's there. Tell him you already have a good pair of new black shoes here in Dallas. Talk to you later, MSTG.
