Guys-
I understand you're looking for copywriters to work with your boutique ad
agency, and I'd like to be considered. I've freelanced for Sullivan Perkins
in Dallas and Avacata in Plano, though I've since moved to Brooklyn, and
I've run the marketing end of things for a couple of different tech firms up
here in the Northeast in addition to some varied work here and there for
other firms across the country. My articles have appeared in dozens of
publications including *National Lampoon*, *The Onion A.V. Club,
McSweeney's, *and plenty of trade journals to boot, plus, incidentally, some
mags down in Texas, like *Austin Monthly, Destination Dallas, *and the
long-deceased *The Met. *My first book, *Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern
Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny*, was released last
year to praise from *Rolling Stone, *Alan Dershowitz, Cenk Uyger of *Air
America Radio*, and *Skeptic, *among other sources.
*
*I'm not quite as good as picking up new clients as I'd like to be, though,
so I'd be very interested in working with your group in some capacity if you
think I fit the bill. I've pasted a resume below; please take a look and let
me know if you'd like to discuss this further.
Thanks,
Barrett Brown
