I understand that Google is seeking a copywriter to work in its New York offices, and I'd like to be considered. I've done advertising copywriting for agencies on both an in-house and off-site basis as well as for my own clients (including several tech firms), and my other freelance work has appeared in dozens of publications including The Onion A.V. Club, National Lampoon, McSweeney's, andnerve.com. My first book, Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny was released last March to praise from Rolling Stone, Alan Dershowitz, The Huffington Post, Air America Radio, Skeptic, and other sources.
