Hello all, I just wanted to give you the update on 1099s. The accounting department assures me that all of them have gone out. Because you may have written for several DiningOut publications in different cities, you should be aware that you will only receive a 1099 if you have earned $600 or more in the same city. Even if you have made more than $600 all together, you must have earned at least $600 in one market to receive a 1099.
We're very sorry for any inconvenience. We are working frantically to get the accounting paperwork in order for all our freelance writers and photographers to avoid future problems.
